The Cook (Hearth) position at The Ritz-Carlton involves preparing and cooking food in a high-quality environment, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, establishing priority items.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.
  • Serve food in proper portions onto dishes, plates, mugs, and bowls, ensuring proper plate appearance.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

Requirements

  • I'm Alert Food Safety Certification (from City of Perth)
  • Unrestricted working rights for Australia
