The Cook I position at Case Hall involves preparing, seasoning, cooking, and portioning a variety of foods within the Culinary Services department. Responsibilities

  • Prepare, season, cook, and portion a wide variety of foods.
  • Organize work area and student staff to provide exceptional food service.
  • Work within a diverse workforce in an ever-changing environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow prescribed recipes.
  • Working knowledge of cooking methods, processes, and materials.
  • Two years satisfactory experience as a Food Service Worker or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Willingness to work a flexible shift.
  • Standards of personal hygiene consistent with sanitation rules and regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Customer oriented with the ability to anticipate needed changes in service and customer demands.
  • Skilled in taking initiative and being highly flexible.
