About The Position
TPC Sugarloaf, located in the gated community of Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth, Georgia, offers a unique opportunity to join our culinary team as a Cook III. This position is integral to maintaining the high standards of food production and sanitation that our members and guests expect. The Cook III will perform advanced methods of food preparation, portion control, and routine maintenance of kitchen equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role requires a commitment to quality and excellence in food service, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to create memorable dining experiences. As a Cook III, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and sanitation throughout the kitchen and storage areas. You will expedite food orders in the absence of the Executive Chef or Sous Chef and assist in developing menu specials and standard recipes. Your role will also involve preparing food orders per customer requests, maintaining prep for your assigned station, and ensuring that all cooking equipment is kept clean and operational. You will receive and store provisions according to accepted practices and perform cooking procedures as required to fulfill tasks assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef. In addition to food preparation, you will be responsible for portion control and basic preparation techniques, including slicing, dicing, and chopping. You will set up, operate, and clean various kitchen equipment, and prepare banquet platters and entrees according to event orders. The Cook III will also maintain responsibility for food and beverage sales, expenses, and profit goals as outlined in the Food and Beverage Operating Plan/Budget. This position requires adherence to all established guidelines, policies, and standards set by PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties, Inc., ensuring that service procedures align with TPC Brand Standards. Special projects and other duties may be assigned as needed.
