Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Possess a Food Sanitation Certificate.
• Two years experience with cooking and baking food in large quantities.
• Physical capacity to work effectively in a kitchen environment, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to plan, organize, coordinate work, train, and provide direction to others.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with high volume scratch cooking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, bake and serve a variety of foods in quantity at an assigned middle or high school site.
• Assist in other food preparation duties for cafeteria and snack bar operations.
• Maintain facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Work during the summer school at a high school.
