About the position

The position involves working as a cook in a professional kitchen environment, focusing on providing high-quality guest service and preparing meals according to established standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to food safety protocols, and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times
• Execute recipes to the letter
• Prepare meals using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Complete production sheets
• Meet deadlines in completion of daily workload
• Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food handling procedures
• Set up and tear down of workstation
• Receive and unpack food deliveries
• Ensure food and supply items are stored per standards
• Utilize FIFO (First In, First Out) method
• Perform other related duties as requested by the leadership team

Requirements

• Previous cook/food service experience required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced environment
• Able to do simple arithmetic
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to follow all safe food handling requirements
• Successfully pass a criminal background check
