About the position

The Back Cook at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is responsible for food production across all areas of the department. This role requires knowledge of various cooking methods and the ability to produce quality, visually appealing food within designated timeframes. The position involves performing related duties as assigned, contributing to the hospital's mission of compassionate care and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for food production in all areas of the department.
• Utilize knowledge of all methods of cookery to prepare meals.
• Produce quality, eye-appealing food within an allotted time.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of food service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler certification within 180 days of employment.
• Excellent integrity and good moral character.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Basic math skills and time management skills.
• Great interpersonal skills.
