About the position

The position is responsible for the quality, quantity, and timeliness of meal production at Parkhurst Dining. The role involves preparing food according to established recipes and standards while ensuring sanitary conditions and proper food presentation. The individual will work closely with other team members to maintain communication about food items and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and enforce the batch cooking method.
• Ensure the quality and quantity of food produced throughout the service period.
• Maintain proper line presentation and serving temperatures as specified by recipes or management.
• Complete daily production sheets and ensure proper storage and dating of food items.
• Follow all HACCP guidelines in utilizing leftovers and maintain cleanliness according to the provided schedule.
• Communicate with management regarding products and supplies needed.
• Adhere to the uniform dress code and maintain personal hygiene standards.
• Assist fellow team members and perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to perform essential functions satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
• Physical ability to stand and/or walk for 100% of the time and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
