About the position

The cook is responsible for preparing and directing the preparation of food to be served, ensuring compliance with sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards. The role involves utilizing facility supplies and equipment efficiently to minimize loss, waste, and fraud while delivering high-quality food items to customers.

Responsibilities

• Preparing high-quality food items utilizing methods such as grilling, steaming, and frying.
• Following company recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations.
• Coordinating food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table.
• Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
• Meeting special customer requests while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Setting up the kitchen before opening and prepping food according to recipe guidelines.
• Portioning food and stocking the alley and line with necessary items for timely order completion.
• Cleaning dishes, silverware, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Stocking and restocking supplies, and breaking down and cleaning the kitchen at closing.
• Maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, kitchen, and parking lot, including picking up debris and sweeping when necessary.

• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Completion of ServSafe Food Handler training.
