About the position
The Cooler Service Technician/Vending Driver at Coca Cola Bottling of Alaska is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing soft drink fountain equipment, beverage coolers, and vending machines. This hybrid role involves both technical service and driving responsibilities, ensuring that vending equipment is stocked and operational while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Assemble and prepare equipment for installation in customer accounts.
- Observe mechanical devices in operation to diagnose issues.
- Dismantle devices to access, remove, and replace defective parts.
- Utilize test equipment to identify defective parts.
- Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and special moving equipment to transport beverage equipment.
- Drive company vehicle to customer accounts to service vending equipment.
- Load vending truck in the morning with needed products for the day.
- Utilize smart device to count money, inventory product, and refill machines.
- Physically refill machines to capacity, rotate products, and remove expired inventory.
- Clean machines as needed and report any functional issues or customer requests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance (SR-22 insurance is not acceptable).
- DOT medical card required to operate vending trucks.
- Familiarity with common hand tools and must be mechanically inclined.
- Comfortable with smart devices and tablets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- $20.25 - $25.50 hourly, depending on experience.
