Cooler Warehouse Operator - Nights (N1)

About the position

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for completing assigned production duties to ensure customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction in a cold environment. This role involves operating palletizing line equipment, tracking production orders, managing inventory, and loading finished goods onto trailers, all while adhering to safety and sanitation standards in the dairy processing industry.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned goals in production, safety, quality, performance, and cost.
• Notify supervision and maintenance of mechanical malfunctions to enhance productivity.
• Comply with GMP's, SOP's, and corporate policies.
• Operate palletizing equipment and maintain supply of pallets and materials.
• Troubleshoot and correct equipment issues as necessary.
• Use Inventory Management System for tracking raw and finished goods.
• Safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks and perform safety checks before loading goods.
• Inspect finished goods pallets before loading onto trailers.
• Complete load diagrams and assign trailer seals for outbound loads.
• Cover breaks and lunches as assigned by supervisor/lead.
• Report safety concerns and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain sanitation practices and report food safety problems.

Requirements

• Minimum of GED or High School diploma preferred.
• Prior experience with Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) preferred.
• Ability to apply basic to complex mathematical concepts.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
