About the position

The Coordinator of Advancement Services at the College of DuPage plays a crucial role in supporting the Institutional Advancement staff by maintaining the integrity of the donor database, processing donations, and assisting in donor and volunteer pipeline development. This position is integral to the fundraising efforts of the college, ensuring accurate documentation and analysis of donor information while fostering a culture of data integrity within the office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of the donor database (Raiser's Edge).
• Process daily gifts and acknowledgments.
• Assist in the development of donor and volunteer pipeline through data analysis and prospect research.
• Manage receipt of and documentation for all in-kind gifts received on behalf of the College.
• Create and generate daily gift acknowledgments and monthly pledge reminders.
• Create and update queries, exports, and reports to support fundraising efforts.
• Safeguard the Foundation database and promote its use as a centralized record of all fundraising data.
• Assist in training staff in the use of NXT Webview.
• Research prospects and generate profiles as requested by the Institutional Advancement staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of the Institutional Advancement Office and represent the College professionally.
• Support all Institutional Advancement initiatives as needed.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of alumni, board, and donor pipeline development.
• Conduct pool analysis to determine the strengths of prospect pools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three (3) years' experience in development operations/advancement services or similar office setting required.
• Proficiency in Raiser's Edge and related Blackbaud products preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Blackbaud Raiser's Edge Certification preferred.
• Experience in development, education, or non-profit institution preferred.
