The Coordinator, Brand Marketing will play a crucial role in advising a key corporate client on their professional golf sponsorship and other sports marketing investments. This position involves providing end-to-end solutions, including strategy, negotiation, activation, implementation, event management, and measurement. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating meaningful, strategic, and inspiring brand concepts, ideas, stories, and experiences for our clients. This role will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will require a proactive approach to managing client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of Excel Sports Management (ESM) Brand Marketing clients across all sponsorship marketing and activation initiatives with an emphasis on professional golf.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships that result in enhanced partnerships and increased ESM opportunities.
  • Facilitate and support the daily client interaction across brand, property and agency partners to support the sponsorship function and associated programming.
  • Support the development of creative platforms and new consumer engagement activations across current and future client sponsorship opportunities.
  • Coordinate client-vendor relationships and necessary activation deliverables on behalf of clients.
  • Create activation briefs, recaps, event itineraries and staff plans.
  • Plan and support client status calls which include scheduling, preparing agendas, and creating/maintaining status documents.
  • Support the Brand Marketing team by reconciling budgets and providing on-going client updates.
  • Support teammates across the group to ensure flawless client-service and a second-to-none agency experience.
  • Conduct research, analysis and provide recommendations to gain greater knowledge of our industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sponsorship or brand marketing strategy and activation at a brand, property or agency preferred.
  • Golf knowledge and experience desired.

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook with the skill and ability to build and lead the development of engaging client and new business presentations.
