About the position

The Coordinator, Business Operations at Baylor College of Medicine plays a crucial role in supporting the Chief of the Section of Immunology, Allergy, and Rheumatology. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient operations within the section through exceptional administrative support, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Section Chief's calendar, including scheduling meetings and resolving conflicts.
  • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and reports.
  • Handle travel arrangements, including booking flights and accommodations.
  • Assist with scheduling and supporting section meetings and events, including taking minutes.
  • Provide administrative support to the section's faculty and staff.
  • Oversee general office operations, including ordering supplies and managing equipment.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Administrative experience is highly desired.
  • Ability to work independently with good communication and organizational skills.
