About the position

The Coordinator of Business Operations at Haslam Sports Group will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Business Operations and the Chief Operating Officer. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the office, managing various tasks that require confidentiality and professionalism, and facilitating communication within the organization and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a wide variety of administrative tasks to support the Director of Business Operations (DBO).
  • Assist the DBO in serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies.
  • Communicate directly on behalf of the DBO and respond to emails, texts, and phone calls during and outside of business hours.
  • Establish excellent working relationships with the HSG executive team and key stakeholders.
  • Provide sophisticated calendar management for the COO and HSG executive team.
  • Coordinate all travel arrangements for the COO and HSG executive team.
  • Manage gameday tasks including ticket distribution and suite coordination.
  • Handle office administrative tasks such as expense reports and mailings.
  • Complete additional projects and special assignments as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous administrative experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate needs.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Flexibility to be available outside of traditional business hours.
