About the position

The Coordinator Clinical Research I at MetroHealth Medical Center is responsible for planning, delivering, documenting, and observing the progress of subjects enrolled in uncomplicated research studies. This role supports both observational and interventional trials, ensuring adherence to study protocols while upholding the mission and values of The MetroHealth System.

Responsibilities

  • Plan for and deliver research study protocols.
  • Document and observe the progress of subjects enrolled in research studies.
  • Ensure compliance with study protocols for observational and interventional trials.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
  • One-year administrative support or program coordination experience.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in the use of a PC, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • Ability to assess and reprioritize quickly to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's Degree.
  • Two years' experience working with Federal Regulations relating to human subject research.
  • Administrative support experience in a medical or clinical research setting.
  • Institutional Review Board (IRB) experience.
  • Certified clinical research coordinator (CCRC).
