About the position

The Coordinator-Clinical Research II at HonorHealth is responsible for managing day-to-day project activities and resources related to clinical trials. This role serves as the primary contact with study sponsors and involves overseeing clinical data and protocol management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and facilitating effective communication among team members and stakeholders. The position emphasizes the importance of quality control, data accuracy, and adherence to clinical protocols, contributing to the overall success of clinical research initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact with study sponsors for clinical trials.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities and resources for clinical research.
  • Oversee clinical and data management of complex protocols.
  • Recruit, screen, and obtain informed consent from study participants.
  • Review source documents and ensure accurate data collection and entry.
  • Resolve queries and trigger financial payments related to studies.
  • Conduct quality control monitoring and database maintenance for protocols.
  • Assist with subject follow-up and document/report clinical study progress.
  • Participate in site initiation, interim monitoring, and study close-out visits.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of performance monitoring tools.
  • Track and report team's workload and progress on studies.
  • Represent the coordination team in various meetings and assist in business development proposals.
  • Conduct monthly quality checks of recorded and submitted data.
  • Provide training and precepting on data management procedures and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Science or 4 years of health science-related experience.
  • 2 years of progressively responsible clinical/clinical research or data management experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
