About the position

The Coordinator, Clinical Trial Operations (CTO) at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating multi-center clinical and research studies in oncology. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and serve as the main contact for consortium participating sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational guidelines. The Coordinator will assist in various protocol-related matters and must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with external sites and research teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage consortium activities at the central operations center.
• Serve as the main contact for consortium participating sites.
• Assist with regulatory compliance requirements including FDA and IRB submissions.
• Manage eCRF database configuration and system access.
• Ensure adherence to operational requirements such as eCRF completion guidelines and SOPs.
• Review and maintain operational and study-related records efficiently.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues as they arise during clinical trials.
• Communicate effectively with external participating sites and research teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Phase I-III clinical trials with a focus on multi-center trials in oncology.
• Experience in study protocol development, regulatory maintenance, and reporting.
• Proficiency in eCRF development and data management.
• Bachelor's Degree required (RN Degree preferred), Master's preferred.
• SoCRA or ACRP Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
