About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two or more years of employment in higher education or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in student affairs or higher education administration preferred.
• Experience working with university housing and residence life.
• Knowledge of laws impacting student conduct processes, such as Title IX and FERPA.
• Experience as a student conduct decision-maker or hearing panel advisor.
• Familiarity with Maxient and Banner software.

Responsibilities

• Manage conduct referrals and adjudicate violations of The Student Code of Conduct.
• Recruit and train members of the Student Conduct Board.
• Coordinate the selection and logistics of hearing panels.
• Collaborate with faculty and the Office of Academic Affairs on academic integrity violations.
• Conduct background and conduct checks for applicants with disciplinary history.
• Educate the campus community on policies and student rights.
• Represent the department on divisional and campus committees.
• Assist with the day-to-day management of the department in the absence of the supervisor.
