About the position

The Coordinator - Compliance Projects position at PRA Group is a vital role that supports management in responding to seller audits and regulatory authorities. This position is responsible for coordinating responses to regulatory examinations and conducting data pulls for regulatory requests. The role requires a proactive approach to compliance-related investigations and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely and accurate responses to various compliance inquiries. In this role, you will assist with the collection of responses to seller questionnaires, ensuring that they adequately address the requests made by regulatory authorities. You will also develop and manage a master repository of these responses, which is crucial for maintaining compliance and facilitating audits. Additionally, you will provide support to the department manager in preparing for on-site audits and assessments, managing the assessment process, and facilitating meetings as necessary. A key aspect of this position is maintaining a current knowledge of applicable consumer protection laws and regulations, as well as internal compliance policies and procedures. You will be expected to provide ongoing support to compliance-related processes identified by management and develop regular and ad-hoc reports as directed by the Manager of Compliance. This role is essential in ensuring that PRA Group adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains its commitment to compliance excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the timely collection of responses to seller questionnaires and review them to ensure they appropriately address the request.
  • Develop and manage a master repository of responses to seller questionnaires.
  • Assist with the timely collection of responses to external examinations by regulatory authorities and review them to ensure they appropriately address the request.
  • Provide support to the department manager in preparing for on-site audits and assessments, managing the assessment, and facilitating meetings as applicable.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of applicable consumer protection laws and regulations, business operations, and internal Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing support to compliance-related processes identified by Management.
  • Develop and produce regular and ad-hoc reports at the direction of the Manager, Compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 1-3 years of related and pertinent work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Effective organizational, communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Superior written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees and clients, being a vocal and proactive team member.
