About the position

The Database Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing the scheduling and tracking of advertising projects, along with a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires initiative, independent decision-making, and project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The coordinator must maintain accuracy and attention to detail while effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders. This position plays a crucial role in meeting client expectations and delivering projects successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the timeline of assigned projects from request through delivery, ensuring in-house creative production needs are met on time and within budget.
  • Effectively manage individual projects and communicate timing to the VP of Marketing and internal departments.
  • Budget and monitor costs against assigned projects.
  • Provide status reports for ongoing projects.
  • Proof, review, and edit all copy and content for accuracy, spelling, and grammar.
  • Manage design reviews and approvals.
  • Ensure timely approvals on all final artwork among all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate revisions to creative as necessary.
  • Work with creative to send work through to print production and double-check final proofs.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisor regarding work issues.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly financial reports.
  • Maintain all department forms, tools, and shared drive.
  • Assist with variance research for monthly expenses.
  • Maintain Marketing expense budget.
  • Maintain Activation Calendar and distribution.
  • Incorporate creative approaches to various projects by taking initiative and working independently.
  • Prepare reports and/or special projects, including data collection and final copy preparation.
  • Develop messages and use proper channels for consistent communication.
  • Oversee production of monthly direct offers, including scheduling and proofing with the internal team and Database Marketing Director.
  • Maintain offer schedules, notifications, and calendars.
  • Serve as the central communication hub for all property Direct Marketing programs.
  • Maintain and update assigned reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Maintain professional relations with vendors and guests.
  • Attend and participate in off-property functions and events as assigned.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Two years or more of marketing experience required, college degree preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in Tribal Gaming preferred.
  • Prior experience opening new properties/outlets preferred.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook required; PowerPoint and Visio strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to set clear expectations with direct reports.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent work ethic.
