About the position

The Coordinator of Early Childhood Education is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and supervising the operational functions of all Early Childhood Education programs, including Infant-Toddler and Preschool Programs. This role involves ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines, developing educational programming, and maintaining a supportive learning environment for participants.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise the operational functions of Early Childhood Education programs.
• Understand, perform, interpret, and apply state and district guidelines.
• Develop and maintain educational programming, curriculum, and instruction offerings for Early Childhood Education and Preschool Program participants.
• Review, monitor, and audit staff functions and activities to ensure a supportive and safe learning environment.
• Perform other related work as directed.

Requirements

• Personal letter of intent stating unique qualifications for the position.
• Professional resume.
• Three current letters of recommendation dated within one year, including one from the current supervisor.
• Copy of California Administrative Services Credential.
• Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential.
• Possession of Child Development Program Director Permit.
• Possession of an American Red Cross First Aid certificate, including CPR training.
• Copy of Transcript.
