About the position

The Coordinator, Global Integrated PR at Calvin Klein will support the Senior PR Manager in executing communications strategies and managing editorial and celebrity sample trafficking. This role is essential in connecting the brand with audiences through media and owned channels, ensuring brand equity and demand for Calvin Klein products.

Responsibilities

  • Support for Senior Manager, Global Integrated PR/PR team in development of global communications strategies, programming and activations that drive demand and energy aligned to brand goals and business objectives.
  • Manage editorial and celebrity sample requests with key global publications taking place in North America for mainline, runway collection, new product ventures collections, and licensees (when needed).
  • Lead long-lead and short-lead always on product pitching for roundups and gift guides.
  • Coordinate with affiliate marketing lead to leverage media program for organic pitching.
  • Coordinate with samples lead on logistical day-to-day sample trafficking, closet organization and asset management.
  • Manage and maintain editorial sample trafficking, coverage and product pitching reports.
  • Oversee execution and management of seasonal press dinners and seeding initiatives.
  • Assistance with administrative tasks and invoicing.
  • Monitor and track industry trends and news and provide regular weekly reports on industry trends, media moves, and competitive analyses.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts including press and stylists.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in Fashion PR/Communications with a focus on editorial product and trend storytelling and runway/collection show execution.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - must be a team player!
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Relationships with key editors and stylists at major outlets necessary.
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, creative, collaborative environment.
  • Deep knowledge and interest in media trends.
  • Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with strong organizational skills and aptitude for managing multiple projects.
  • Developed editorial and design skills (writing, editing, grammar, proofreading, laying out + designing presentations, etc.) along with a high-level of creativity.
  • A strong aesthetic sensibility and exposure to/understanding of fashion, photography, architecture, and/or art required.
  • Familiarity with PR tools and software, such as Meltwater, Fashion GPS/Launchmetrics, Lefty, Tribe, and MuckRack.
  • Google Sheet / Excel proficiency is required.
