About the position

The Operations Coordinator I plays a crucial role in supporting the Operations Manager with the daily coordination and management of business operations activities. This position is essential for maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to company and customer safety standards, quality practices, and legal regulations. The Operations Coordinator I is expected to alert others regarding potential hazards or concerns, ensuring that safety is a top priority in all operations. In addition to safety responsibilities, the Operations Coordinator I is a champion of the company's core values and assists with technician scheduling to ensure efficient operations. This role also involves communicating 'stop work' authority to employees, providing support in challenging customer situations, and addressing unsafe conditions as they arise. The coordinator will support the Training and Certification Management program and contribute to the Quality Management system within the district. The position also includes responsibilities related to district warehousing, shipping and receiving, and general shop tasks. The Operations Coordinator I ensures that the district fleet and equipment are properly maintained and that adequate supplies are available in a cost-effective manner. This multifaceted role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and organization, making it vital for the smooth operation of the district's activities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety and quality standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
  • Adheres to and is a champion of TEAM's Core Values.
  • Assists with technician scheduling.
  • Communicates 'stop work' authority to employees and provides support in difficult customer situations and/or unsafe conditions.
  • Assists with supporting the Training and Certification Management program.
  • Supports the Quality Management system within District.
  • Assists with District warehousing, shipping and receiving, general shop and/or driving tasks as needed.
  • Ensures District fleet is properly maintained.
  • Ensures District equipment is properly maintained.
  • Maintains adequate District supplies in a cost effective manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) to three (3) years' experience in an operations coordinator or similar role.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple schedules.
  • Highly organized with an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
