About the position

The Coordinator, Investment Operations role at Ameritas involves executing daily processes to ensure smooth operations within AIP Wealth Management. The position supports the business by monitoring investment data for individual investors and assisting the operations team with various tasks, including account setup, reporting coordination, and compliance with regulatory obligations. This hybrid role allows for a combination of in-office and remote work, providing flexibility while maintaining essential operational functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and complete data entry including retention of important documents.
  • Set up new accounts and resolve issues with both internal and external partners.
  • Streamline operational procedures to the field and answer customer questions.
  • Reconcile account-related data through the operation of back-office systems, including client information, reports, and other data.
  • Conduct scheduled and ad hoc distribution of information such as client correspondence, surveys, reports, invoices, and statements.
  • Ensure account setup and maintenance is compliant within terms of program agreements.
  • Adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Process account maintenance needs.
  • Monitor, verify, and manually research responses to correspondence and emails as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Previous experience from the financial services industry, accounting field, or data entry field is highly desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience desired.
