About the position

The Legal Operations Coordinator at Texas Woman's University is responsible for managing the administrative functions of the Office of General Counsel. Responsibilities

  • Coordinates meetings and projects including Board of Regent meetings.
  • Coordinates TPIA requests.
  • Reviews and drafts a broad range of legal documents with guidance.
  • Maintains and organizes office databases and record systems for legal files.
  • Tracks changes to policies and ensures compliance with deadlines.
  • Processes external corresponding invoices and manages budget oversight.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for the Office of General Counsel.
  • Provides guidance to department administrators regarding legal processes.
  • Maintains contact with individuals involved in case matters and generates status reports.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in project management, office management, paralegal, or a related field required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and respond effectively within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in using a personal computer and office equipment.

Nice-to-haves
