About the position

At Travel + Leisure Co., our mission is to put the world on vacation, and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Vacation Ownership business line. This role involves in-person marketing with prospective and current owners at our resorts. As a brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and present to prospective customers, incentivizing them to attend a sales-preview tour. You will work closely with resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in and ensure a seamless experience for all involved. In this position, you will be responsible for screening and qualifying potential customers based on company guidelines, making sales-tour reservations, and collecting required deposits. Your role will require you to maintain a positive and professional demeanor while adhering to all company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. You will also be expected to meet minimum performance goals, which will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings to stay current on marketing information and industry trends. Setting and reviewing performance goals on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis will also be part of your duties. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with guests and contribute to their vacation experiences while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations.
  • Partner with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in.
  • Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour.
  • Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines.
  • Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits.
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings.
  • Keep current on marketing information and materials, as well as industry trends.
  • Set and review performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually.

Requirements

  • Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
  • Must maintain production standards.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
  • Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills and smart devices.
