About the position

At Travel + Leisure Co., our mission is to put the world on vacation, and as a Coordinator in In House Marketing, you will play a vital role in achieving this goal. This position involves in-person marketing with prospective and current owners at our resorts, where you will be responsible for scheduling guests to meet with representatives for presentations. You will serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include partnering with resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in, greeting and presenting to prospective customers, and incentivizing them to attend a sales-preview tour. You will screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines, make sales-tour reservations, and collect required deposits. This role requires you to maintain minimum performance goals while adhering to all company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. In addition to your marketing duties, you will be expected to attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings, keeping current on marketing information and industry trends. Setting and reviewing performance goals on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis will also be part of your responsibilities. This position is essential in creating exceptional experiences for millions of travelers worldwide, and your contributions will directly impact the success of our vacation ownership business line.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills and smart devices
  • 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required
