About the position

As a Marketing Coordinator at Bally's Chicago, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the marketing team to implement effective marketing strategies and plans that align with the company's vision of creating a world-class entertainment destination. Your responsibilities will include fostering an environment that embodies Bally's 'Born to Entertain' philosophy, ensuring that every guest experiences a fun-filled and entertaining atmosphere. You will be expected to promote a customer-centric culture that emphasizes superior guest service and the development of long-lasting guest relations. In this role, you will adhere to all policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and company initiatives. You will also be responsible for performing duties associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program. Your tasks will include submitting and proofreading creative requests for various advertising media, ensuring that all property media is accurate, current, and error-free. You will assist in planning and executing special events, such as slot tournaments and promotional drawings, and will be responsible for loading casino offers on promotional kiosks. Additionally, you will gather data and report post-event results to facilitate decision-making for future marketing initiatives. Your involvement in social media content strategy and implementation will be crucial, as will your ability to write rules and regulations for promotions and special events. You will be encouraged to support and cultivate new ideas and methods to deliver effective business solutions, contributing to the overall success of Bally's Chicago.

Responsibilities

  • Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
  • Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
  • Adhere to policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
  • Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
  • Submit and proof creative requests to Studio for all advertising media including but not limited to: direct mail, digital media, printed collateral, and outdoor signage
  • Ensure all property media are accurate, current, and error-free
  • Assist with planning and executing special events from slot tournaments, dinners, gift giveaways, and promotional drawings
  • Load all casino offers on the promotional kiosk and set said kiosks for drawings and giveaways
  • Gather data and report post-event results accurately and timely to allow decision-making regarding future marketing initiatives
  • Assist with social media content strategy, implementation, and monitoring duties
  • Write rules and regulations for promotions and special events
  • Support and cultivate new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
  • A minimum of six months of related experience and training
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite and must be able to learn other software systems easily
  • Must be able to work weekends, weeknights, and holidays
