About the position

UTA Entertainment and Culture Marketing is seeking a Coordinator to join the Next Gen Marketing team, which is dedicated to connecting brands with the next generation of consumers through innovative research, insights, strategy, community building, and creative campaigns that resonate with Gen Z. The Coordinator will play a pivotal role in servicing a high-profile key client account, working closely with client service leadership and the influencer marketing team. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about social and influencer strategy, possesses creative ideas, is highly organized, and has strong team leadership skills to effectively solve client challenges. As part of UTA Marketing, a division of a leading global talent and entertainment company, the Coordinator will be involved in a variety of marketing initiatives for some of the world's biggest brands, including Delta Air Lines, General Motors, SC Johnson, JanSport, Google, and LinkedIn. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from talent procurement and film/TV integrations to studio/network co-marketing and promotional partnerships. The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $80,000, commensurate with experience and skills. The Coordinator will lead client and internal communications, ensuring that strategic agendas are set, clients are kept updated, and project teams are aligned on priorities and deadlines. They will oversee bespoke communities of micro-influencers and brand fans, aiming to create brand advocacy and co-create products that resonate with Gen Z. Additionally, the Coordinator will manage timelines, spearhead project management, and ensure that all client deliverables meet the highest standards. They will also help clients immerse themselves in culture by keeping them informed about cultural moments, emerging creators, and trends. The role requires a strong understanding of measurement and KPIs for the account's campaigns, as well as the ability to create visually appealing presentations that showcase creative ideas and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client and internal communication by setting strategic agendas, keeping clients updated, and ensuring project teams are aligned on priorities, deadlines, and client expectations.
  • Oversee bespoke communities of micro-influencers, brand fans, and everyday consumers to create brand advocacy and co-create products and Gen Z resonate marketing.
  • Build and oversee timelines with an understanding of how different factors can impact deliverables and deadlines.
  • Spearhead project management by managing all timelines, internal and external check-ins.
  • Ensure all client deliverables are completed to the highest standards of the brand and UTA.
  • Help clients immerse themselves in and create culture by keeping them updated with cultural moments, up-and-coming creators, and trends.
  • Set the strategic direction of presentations by leading deck creation and assigning tasks to other team members.
  • Oversee the account budget while keeping the client updated on talent and production costs.
  • Lead creative ideation for campaigns, social content, and cultural brand integration.
  • Manage up to Next Gen leadership to keep them informed about the work, challenges, and successes on the account.
  • Keep the internal team and clients informed about category trends online and in real life (IRL).
  • Work with the IQ team to have an in-depth understanding of measurement and KPIs for the account's campaigns.
  • Create beautifully designed presentations that showcase the creative ideas and strategy.
  • Connect brands with the next generation of consumers by leveraging personal experiences and a deep understanding of sentiments, interests, and culture that resonates with the cohort.
  • Project manage a team of 3-5 specializing in talent, social strategy, measurement, and account support.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in account management or social media strategy, preferably at a creative, social media, or influencer agency.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Be completely plugged into social media, influencer, and entertainment culture.
  • High degree of motivation and initiative, with the ability to demonstrate creative and critical thinking, and the capacity to problem-solve independently.
  • Unmatched communication skills that put clients at ease and motivate internal team members.
  • Strong foundation of project and timeline management and task delegation.
  • Impeccable organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate an organization and operate in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
  • Ability to see and communicate the big picture in an innovative way and identify opportunities based on current and future trends.
  • Ability to run impactful presentations.
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas, strategy, insights, and talent recommendations.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a must.
