About the position

The Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Marketing/Business Development and other team members in executing marketing programs and community relations initiatives at The Forum Shops at Caesars. This position involves managing the gift card program, coordinating events, and maintaining effective communication with tenants and community stakeholders to enhance the shopping experience and promote the center's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison to tenants for SBV initiatives including Gift card, Tourism Initiatives, Events, and special promotions.
  • Maintain the gift card program and provide training and reporting to guest services associates.
  • Understand and follow policies and procedures related to marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in on-site management of center events, promotions, and sponsorships, including pre and post-event follow-up.
  • Ensure the professional appearance of common areas, marketing materials, signage, and displays.
  • Market the center to tenants and customers to improve perceptions.
  • Act as hotel liaison for Shop and Stay Packages, Group Tours, and Programs.
  • Coordinate the Customer Service Initiative across the property.
  • Participate in community-centric events and networking opportunities.
  • Manage collateral associated with events, promotions, and sponsorships.
  • Assist with reports and surveys related to center events and promotions.
  • Support the Director with materials and presentations for trade shows.
  • Encourage retailer participation in corporate and local events, including military discount programs and coupon books.
  • Provide support to co-workers and other departments as needed.
  • Assist with SYF programs when necessary.
  • Maintain the mall website, social media communications, and collateral material.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in sales, sponsorship, strategic marketing, event management, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of retail management, marketing, tour operators, and meeting planners.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Sound fiscal management and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent skills in word processing, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and evenings.
  • Willingness to travel during peak seasons.
