The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Coordinator of Business Operations for the Engineering Management Program (EMP). This role is pivotal as it serves as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, vendors, and visitors, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the program. The Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks including scheduling, logistics, and coordination for numerous events throughout the academic year. This includes entering course schedules into Campus Solutions by the appropriate deadlines and submitting necessary documentation for course changes and adjustments throughout the semester. Additionally, the Coordinator will manage the tracking of the program's technology, equipment, office supplies requests, and building maintenance repairs. Administrative duties will also encompass being the liaison for phone, key, and parking issues, along with providing general administrative support for the program. The Engineering Management Program offers a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management (ME) degree, a minor in Engineering Management, a minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship, and various graduate certificates. The program aims to prepare engineers and technical professionals for career advancement in leadership and management roles. The Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the program's mission by ensuring that all operational aspects run efficiently and effectively, thereby contributing to the overall success of the students and faculty involved. Key responsibilities include managing enrollment and student services, coordinating graduation ceremonies, serving as the Faculty Course Questionnaire (FCQ) Coordinator, and overseeing program data collection and reporting. The Coordinator will also act as the primary point of contact for all inquiries, manage office supplies and technology purchases, and support event logistics. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. The Coordinator will also be involved in academic scheduling, working closely with faculty leadership to plan courses each semester and ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
