About the position

The Coordinator of Event Scheduling and Communication at Keene State College is responsible for managing the 25Live Scheduling System, providing training to faculty and staff, and ensuring effective communication regarding campus events. This role involves developing policies and procedures for scheduling, curating event content for internal communication channels, and collaborating with various departments to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of event scheduling and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as administrator for the 25Live System and work directly with the CollegeNET team to optimize the software for the college's needs.
  • Maintain, modify, update, and improve the use of the 25Live Scheduling System.
  • Provide training on the 25Live System to college faculty and staff to enhance their scheduling knowledge and efficiency.
  • Guide the development of standardized scheduling policies and procedures.
  • Create and enforce a space usage policy for campus facilities in collaboration with college leadership.
  • Coordinate with campus schedulers to improve the scheduling system and update related policies and procedures.
  • Champion the use of college-wide systems in 25Live to improve data quality and reduce maintenance efforts.
  • Create and track a Master Calendar of Events, including major events and campus closures.
  • Curate and coordinate internal communication efforts related to college events, ensuring consistency and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategic communication plans for events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in scheduling spaces.
  • Experience with scheduling software.
