About the position

The Chicago White Sox are seeking an experienced Marketing & Advertising Coordinator to assist with day-to-day marketing operations. This role involves developing and deploying email and paid digital campaigns, managing media schedules, and creating cross-channel copy for various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and creative skills to handle multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously, working cross-functionally with various departments and Major League Baseball representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day development and execution of email marketing efforts.
  • Optimize subject lines, content, and copy throughout the email process with a 'test and learn' mentality.
  • Support the creation, execution, and reporting of digital and traditional media campaigns.
  • Produce cross-channel copy for TV, radio, email, social, and digital display.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop high-quality marketing assets efficiently.
  • Monitor rotation of creative assets to ensure timely and relevant promotions.
  • Prepare weekly media schedules and assist with trafficking creative assets to media partners and MLB.
  • Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders to ensure timely creation and scheduling of requested emails.
  • Prepare daily in-game TV and radio advertisements for all departments.
  • Help facilitate ticket requests for media partners.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of hands-on digital marketing or marketing/advertising experience.
  • Experience developing content, executing multi-channel campaigns, and reporting on key performance metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with traditional marketing KPIs.
  • Experience in project management with the ability to balance multiple projects effectively.
  • Desire to evolve the White Sox organization's marketing and advertising strategy.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Passion for baseball and sports is a plus.
