About the position

The Coordinator of Operations at APluscare LLC is a pivotal role that involves overseeing various operational aspects of the organization, particularly in relation to services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of healthcare administration, as well as a commitment to ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The Coordinator will participate in team meetings, compile and analyze data for risk management, and present findings to upper management on a monthly basis. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and effectiveness of services provided to clients, ensuring that all operations align with the standards set by the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and other relevant authorities. In addition to data analysis and reporting, the Coordinator will review service plans for trend analysis and ensure that the clinical team is supervised effectively to facilitate positive outcomes for individuals served. The position also involves promoting a supportive environment within the organization, adhering to policies and procedures, and conducting regular program visits for quality assurance. The Coordinator will manage various departments, including quality assurance, day supports, housing, fiscal processes, and IT, ensuring that all operations are compliant and efficient. The role demands strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery. The Coordinator will also be responsible for developing and presenting quarterly status reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement. This position is crucial for the overall success of APluscare's mission to provide high-quality support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in all necessary team meetings for programs, along with compiling and analyzing data for risk management, trend analysis, and quality improvement purposes.
  • Presents feedback from data analysis to upper management on a monthly basis.
  • Reviews service plans for trend analysis.
  • Demonstrates consistent key knowledge of Division of Developmental Disabilities regulations, circulars, and licensing standards.
  • Maintains interdepartmental compliance with DDD, DHS, and other relevant state departments, as well as federal rules and regulations.
  • Supervises the clinical team in order to facilitate desired positive outcomes for individuals served.
  • Participates in all clinical team meetings for individuals served.
  • Promotes and models appropriate support system for departments within APluscare.
  • Maintains interdepartmental full adherence to the Policies and Procedures of APluscare.
  • Maintains interdepartmental full adherence to relevant service programs manuals.
  • Conducts monthly program visits for quality assurance data analysis and verification.
  • Conducts weekly supervisions with assigned department heads.
  • Conducts statistical data analysis for completed service review surveys for the purpose of best practices trend analysis and risk management.
  • Develops, manages, and presents quarterly status analysis report to APluscare management.
  • Ensures efficient and compliant daily operations of the quality assurance department, including but not limited to QA audits, internal and external incident reporting, and management processes.
  • Ensures efficient and compliant daily operations of the day supports program, including but not limited to implementation and delivery of appropriate person-centered individual support services.
  • Ensures efficient and compliant daily operations of the housing department, including but not limited to integrity checklists, work orders, purchase orders, maintenance requests, routine program needs and housing related documents, new development and routine DDD licensing needs and documentation, and agency vehicle management.
  • Ensures efficient and compliant daily operations of service programs fiscal processes in accordance with APluscare policies and procedures.
  • Ensures efficient and compliant daily operations of the IT department, including but not limited to efficient management of the electronic centralized employee scheduling system, all IT work orders, and requests for technical assistance.
  • All other duties as assigned by APluscare.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Health Care Administration or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a supervisory capacity.
  • Employee must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection or investigation.
  • Employee must successfully complete and demonstrate proficiency in all areas of required training.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
