About the position

The Coordinator of Operations at Signal of Nashville is a pivotal role designed for an experienced leader who can effectively build, lead, and execute scalable growth strategies within a rapidly expanding franchise. This position requires flexible availability, including weekends, to align with the business's operational needs. The Coordinator will work closely with the Franchise Owner to foster a collaborative environment, ensuring that the team is well-resourced and motivated to deliver exceptional service to clients. In this role, the Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, and managing the daily activities of Dedicated Officers. This includes assisting the Director in managing operational efficiency and ensuring that all on-site services run smoothly. The Coordinator will also be expected to exhibit excellent customer service skills while engaging with clients and maintaining a visible presence among the business portfolio. The position demands a self-motivated and results-driven individual who can develop and implement scalable plans for the organization. The Coordinator will need to understand the big picture and communicate near-term goals effectively, while also identifying and hiring new team members who align with the company's vision. Strategic planning and project management skills are essential, as the Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring that all operational commitments are met. Additionally, the Coordinator will play a crucial role in team development, implementing training programs, and fostering a positive working environment through feedback and recognition. This position is not just about managing tasks but also about leading a team towards success and continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall quality of service to assigned accounts/clients.
  • Direct accountability for operational KPIs including labor efficiencies, dedicated shift completion, employee retention, and customer retention.
  • Develop officers and supervisors for success through hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching.
  • Work alongside the Director in the hiring and onboarding process.
  • Continuously improve processes, quality of service, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee officer development and performance management.
  • Ensure all shifts are filled at least one month in advance and review time off requests.
  • Daily review of activity and incident reports, communicating needs between clients and upper management.
  • Oversee maintenance and condition of all franchise equipment.
  • Organize and host weekly meetings with Branch Dedicated Supervisors to review operational priorities and client issues.
  • Notify the Director of any issues in the field for timely follow-up.
  • Monitor company policies and procedures through inspections and spot checks.
  • Issue disciplinary actions in accordance with the employee handbook.
  • Foster a positive working environment through feedback and recognition programs.
  • Communicate with the Director during monthly meetings to review scorecards and operational priorities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of management or leadership experience required.
  • Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to established procedures and identify and solve problems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to service and professionalism.
  • Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
