This team focuses on coaching managers on effective leadership, resolving employee relations issues, and supporting employee growth within the company. We provide comprehensive support to employees across various divisions, including Warner-Elektra-Atlantic Corporation (WMX & WRMGO) and Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA). Our responsibilities encompass organizational development, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, and general human resources support. The People Team Coordinator role is pivotal in ensuring that all HR-related tasks are managed professionally and efficiently. This position serves as the first point of contact for all HR inquiries, providing first-class employee support and taking direction from the People Team Business Partners. The Coordinator will be responsible for administrative support to the Senior Vice President of the People Team, including calendar management across multiple time zones, handling phones, processing invoices and expenses, and managing travel needs. Additionally, the role involves updating and maintaining employee data in Workday, conducting new hire orientations, and creating a seamless onboarding experience for new employees. In this role, you will also participate in HR initiatives and Learning & Development opportunities, train employees on the use of Workday and other systems, and collaborate with various teams on people initiatives. You will conduct exit interviews, manage the exiting process for departing employees, and work on ad-hoc reports, research, and presentations. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to communication, maintain confidentiality, and possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. This position requires a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President, People Team with calendar management, phones, invoices, expense processing, and travel needs.
  • Update and maintain Workday employee data with accuracy.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for new hires and employees, providing information and guidance or escalating inquiries as appropriate.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and create a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires.
  • Assist the greater People Team with HR initiatives and Learning & Development opportunities based on business needs.
  • Train employees on the use of Workday and other inter-company related systems.
  • Assist in the design and rollout of developmental and programmatic training as needed.
  • Partner with clients on Early Careers Programs: Emerging Talent (Internship) and Warner Music U (College Rep) Program.
  • Collaborate with the Talent, Compensation & Benefits, and People Tech teams on current and future people initiatives.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage the exiting process for all departing employees.
  • Work with the team on employee relations matters.
  • Prepare and analyze reports necessary for the department and company functions.
  • Maintain HR files and databases.
  • Perform any other duties and tasks related to the Department's role and responsibilities that might be assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Ability to forge outstanding working relationships across a large team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field.
  • Experience in working with the Workday system and/or other HRIS systems.
  • Experience managing large sets of data.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel (v-look ups, pivot tables).
  • Proficient in Google Suite: Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.
  • Experience with creative writing or marketing is a plus.
