About the position

The Practice Operations Coordinator at St. Luke's University Health Network plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the neurology practice. This position focuses on ensuring efficient practice operations, delivering quality care, and enhancing patient experience. The coordinator collaborates with the Practice Operations leader to manage various operational and administrative tasks, support continuous improvement initiatives, and facilitate effective communication among staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates various operational and administrative tasks such as WQs and cash management.
• Acts as a liaison between providers, practice employees, and Access Center POD team members.
• Provides onsite oversight of processes, workflow execution, and employee collaboration.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and supports continuous improvement activities.
• Ensures operational readiness for clinical and clerical operations, including updating schedules and maintaining supply inventory.
• Serves as a point of escalation for operational, technological, and patient issues.
• Supports new hire orientation and onboarding, providing training and performance feedback.
• Partners with Practice Operations leader for input into employees' annual performance evaluations.
• Educates staff and providers on operational, technology, procedural, and policy changes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of healthcare experience required.
• Experience in a medical practice operations role preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Focused on compliance and quality-driven service.
• Strong time management skills and ability to communicate clearly with patients.
