About the position

The PR Coordinator at Kontoor Brands will play a vital role in enhancing the Wrangler brand's visibility and reputation through strategic public relations efforts. This position involves coordinating product placements, managing media coverage, and executing collaborations and events. The PR Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and other teams to support brand initiatives and drive earned media, ultimately contributing to the brand's growth and equity.

Responsibilities

• Select and order products for media, VIPs, celebrities, and TV shows, ensuring alignment with Direct to Consumer (DTC) and LBU initiatives.
• Work with external PR agencies and internal departments to obtain product samples and support various projects.
• Coordinate and oversee two media weeks per year, including product selection and development of look books and invites.
• Assist with press releases, maintaining the PR calendar, and tracking product launches.
• Plan and activate events for product launches, collaborations, and music-related initiatives.
• Assist in developing marketing assets and plans for special collection launches.
• Process external vendor invoices and assist with budget management, including running weekly budget reports.
• Maintain content for quarterly newsletters and keep presentation decks updated for LBU and sales.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in brand marketing, public relations, or events.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business, or equivalent working experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
• Detail-oriented and accurate, demonstrating initiative and meeting deadlines.
• Agile and collaborative, with experience in budget management.
