About the position

The PR Coordinator at Kontoor Brands will play a vital role in enhancing the Wrangler brand's visibility and reputation through strategic public relations efforts. This position involves coordinating media placements, managing collaborations, and executing events to drive brand engagement and equity. The role requires collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with marketing goals and effective budget management.

Responsibilities

• Select and order products for media, VIPs, celebrities, and events, ensuring alignment with Direct to Consumer (DTC) and key product initiatives.
• Work with external PR agencies and internal departments to coordinate product samples and media weeks, including product selection and look book development.
• Assist in drafting and approving press releases, maintaining a PR calendar to track launches and deadlines.
• Plan and activate events for product launches and collaborations, with potential for regular travel.
• Develop marketing assets and plans for collaborations, ensuring alignment with cross-functional partners.
• Process vendor invoices and assist with budget management, including running weekly budget reports and expediting payments.
• Maintain content for quarterly newsletters and update presentation decks for internal use.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, public relations, or event planning.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of initiative and ability to meet deadlines.
• Agile and collaborative in approach to work.
• Experience in budget management.
