This role is situated within the Rhino/Global Catalogue label at WMG, where we manage the day-to-day production and operational needs that culminate in the successful delivery of content and releases to market. As a Coordinator in Release Operations, you will primarily work on the Third Party Manufacturing and Custom Products line of releases, which involves a fast-paced, concentrated production process. You will collaborate closely with various departments and manufacturing partners to ensure that projects are properly set up and executed efficiently. In this position, you will be responsible for facilitating and overseeing the production process for TPM Custom Products. This includes tracking customer credit lines, ensuring that manufacturing partners have all necessary materials, and managing the Spec Sheet process for new projects. You will also be tasked with submitting and tracking manufacturing orders, liaising with vendors for quotes, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the manufacturing, shipping, and invoicing processes. Additionally, you will work closely with the Director of Reissues in the Rhino Commerce Department to track financial goals and assist with special projects as needed. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, the ability to anticipate and solve problems independently, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and oversee the production process for Third Party Manufacturing Custom Products.
  • Interact with various departments to ensure projects are properly set up.
  • Track TPM Customer credit lines.
  • Ensure manufacturing partners have all necessary materials, including BOMs and secured capacity.
  • Set up Inventory Management/Manufacturing for new projects through the Spec Sheet process.
  • Track new release deliverables from partners and team members.
  • Submit and track manufacturing orders, ensuring timely delivery of BOMs and customer POS.
  • Work closely with Inventory Management to ensure correct submission of POs to vendors.
  • Assist Inventory Management in closing POs in a timely manner to initiate customer invoicing.
  • Liaise with vendors for quote requests.
  • Track component deliveries with customers.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues in manufacturing, shipping, and invoicing processes.
  • Track monthly/quarterly/yearly financial goals with the Director of Reissues in the Rhino Commerce Department.
  • Assist with departmental special projects as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • College Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficiency with both Mac and PC platforms is a plus.
  • Previous Entertainment Industry experience.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience with industry manufacturing.
