About The Position

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) invites applications and nominations for our Coordinator, Strategic Outreach and Recruitment position. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Professional experience in admissions, counseling, teaching, or advising at primary, secondary school, or a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Experience giving oral presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate strategic recruitment initiatives for their territory designed to attract competitive in-state students.
  • Assist with establishing in-state recruitment goals by leveraging data from college-preparatory assessments (ACT & SAT) to develop recruitment plans and conduct market analysis.
  • Counsel a variety of prospective students and parents.
  • Represent UTK and Undergraduate Admissions at recruitment events.
  • Coordinate and manage schedule of travel, visits, and general office duties.
  • Holistically review prospective student applications for admission.
  • Work on the Strategic Outreach & Recruitment Team to lead the UT Department of Enrollment management in executing access-driven admission and outreach efforts.
