The Coordinator, Ticket Operations at Amerant Bank Arena is a pivotal role designed for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about enhancing operational efficiencies and improving the experiences of patrons at the arena. This full-time position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless ticket operations during events. The Coordinator will be responsible for fulfilling ticket orders promptly and accurately, processing requests, and effectively communicating across various departments to support the overall ticketing operations. In this role, the Coordinator will also assist in maintaining strong relationships with patrons, partners, venue staff, and executives, thereby elevating customer service standards. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, familiar with ticketing systems, and possess a strong work ethic, contributing positively to the success of the ticketing department. The position involves on-site support during events and games, ensuring that all operational aspects run smoothly and efficiently. The Coordinator will also be tasked with managing part-time box office staff, coordinating collaboration with various departments, and supporting the Manager, Director, and VP in executing daily operations and administrative tasks. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of ticket operations and ensuring that all patrons have a positive experience at the Amerant Bank Arena.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support during events and games to department members and box office staff
  • Assist with maintenance of all accounts including financial details, seat relocations, and ticket upgrade requests
  • Process ticket orders and requests for both the Florida Panthers and 3rd Party Events
  • Gain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the ticketing system and other platforms
  • Assist sales department with orders and questions
  • Provide excellent customer service to fans
  • Troubleshoot client issues
  • Hire, train, and manage the part-time box office staff
  • Coordinate effective collaboration with designated departments regarding ticket operations
  • Support the Manager, Director, and VP with execution of daily operations and administration of the department
  • Formulate and complete special projects as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to master new technology quickly
  • Excellent customer service skills for internal and external clients
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning team
  • Flexible work schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as required
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Prior experience with a ticketing system preferred
  • Experience in the sports and/or entertainment industry preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
