About the position

The Web Operations Coordinator at Warner Music Group plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining artist websites and digital marketing campaigns. This position involves collaborating with digital marketers and developers to ensure that web content is organized, optimized for SEO, and adheres to privacy policies. The coordinator will also assist in onboarding and offboarding artists on web platforms, contributing to the overall success of the marketing and ecommerce teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, publish, and maintain website content in collaboration with Digital Marketers.
  • Manage SEO best practices for website and digital campaign optimization.
  • Provision and maintain user accounts for web properties and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with WMG privacy and cookie policies, including data retention and destruction policies.
  • Assess, document, and resolve technical challenges or bugs affecting websites in collaboration with Developers and Project Managers.
  • Author project artifacts such as user guides, functional requirements, and meeting notes.
  • Assist Project Managers in onboarding and offboarding artists on web platforms, including content migrations and site archives.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to drive improvements.
  • Experience in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
  • Ability to execute on simultaneous projects with tight deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading.
  • Critical thinking skills in a technical environment.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and drive projects to completion independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • College Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing operations.
  • General understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Experience using a content management system (CMS) such as Drupal.
  • Familiarity with project management techniques and tools (Basecamp, JIRA, Gantt Charts).
