About The Position

The Yard and Logistics Coordinator at MacAllister Machinery is responsible for managing equipment staging, conducting inventory audits, and ensuring the organization of machines and attachments in the company yard. This role plays a crucial part in supporting logistics for equipment deliveries and maintaining accurate inventory information, contributing to the overall success of customer operations.

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED
• 2 years or more of experience operating Heavy Equipment and/or Agriculture Equipment
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong multitasking abilities and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistics for equipment deliveries utilizing internal and external transportation methods.
• Monitor and maintain inventory information regarding order status and availability for all equipment and parts at various locations.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks.
• Correctly stage units for refueling, steaming, repairs, or readiness for rent/sale.
• Conduct minor machine inspections, checking for visual damage or tire leaks.
• Maintain organization of machines and attachments in the yard.
• Assist with condition reports and forward information to appropriate parties.
• Direct customers and haulers to proper locations.
• Conduct weekly inventory audits of machines and attachments.
• Communicate details regarding incoming and outgoing units.
• Change attachments to meet customer specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
