About the position
The Copier Service Technician at Southwest Florida Copier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of networked office equipment. This role involves working with a variety of office equipment, including digital networked copiers, scanners, and printers, while collaborating with a service team to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain networked office equipment for clients.
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
- Rebuild parts such as fuser units, drum units, and transfer belts.
- Maintain an organized vehicle stock and return parts as needed.
- Collaborate with service solution providers for timely service delivery.
- Manage time effectively from start to finish on service calls.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a mechanical or technical repair position.
- Excellent working knowledge of PC hardware and driver installation.
- Understanding of networking and Scan to folder/email SMTP Servers.
- Strong organizational skills for managing vehicle stock.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance or 75+ pounds with help.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Ricoh and Konica MFPs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
