The Copper Layout and Programming Operator position at Metal Magic involves executing copper layout and programming operations with precision, ensuring the integration of technology and craftsmanship in production. The role emphasizes maintaining a safe workspace, designing with accuracy using specialized software, and collaborating effectively with team members to meet production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Execute copper layout and programming operations with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace for safety.
- Use specialized software including Type3 and Adobe Illustrator to accurately layout customer designs.
- Develop 'Film' and 'Relief' .pdf and .dxf files for imaging processes and CNC programming.
- Assist team members and be open to feedback for continuous improvement.
- Inform management of any anticipated or actual production delays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience or familiarity with Type3 and Adobe Illustrator.
- Intermediate problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
