About the position
Vilardo Printing is a small commercial printing shop located in Buffalo, NY, seeking a Copy and Print Associate / Graphic Designer to join our team. This part-time position requires approximately 30 hours of work per week, where the successful candidate will be responsible for producing graphic designs using industry-standard software such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. The role involves digital printing of various jobs, including business cards, stationery, posters, and similar items. A working knowledge of Adobe products is essential for this position, as it will enable the candidate to effectively create and modify designs to meet customer specifications. In addition to graphic design and printing tasks, the candidate must possess strong communication skills to interact with customers regarding their printing projects. This includes understanding customer needs, providing guidance on design options, and ensuring that the final product meets their expectations. The role also requires the ability to manage inventory, including stocking and lifting paper inventory weighing approximately 30 lbs. Given the small size of our shop, interpersonal skills, customer service, and the ability to multi-task are crucial for success in this position.
