About the position

The University of New Mexico's Office of the University Controller, also known as Financial Services, is responsible for all central accounting functions for the University. The Controller's Office ensures compliance with financial policies, rules, and regulations adopted by the University or imposed by external agencies, including state and federal audit requirements, while following generally accepted accounting practices. Additionally, the Controller's Office oversees the maintenance of the official financial records of the University. Within Financial Services is The UNM Copy Center, a service-oriented department that strives for excellence. The Copy Center has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills who can multi-task, work under pressure, and work effectively as part of a team. This position is responsible for designing and producing promotional material in the apparel and wide format area of the UNM Copy Center, including wide format banners, posters, vinyl decals, and apparel heat transfer logos. The selected candidate will consult with UNM faculty and staff to identify their graphic needs, including budget and project deadlines, while adhering to the established brand style guidelines at the University of New Mexico. The salary range for this position is estimated, and the actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's education, experience, and qualifications. This position is on-site Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
