About the position

The Copy Editor III position at TalentBurst, Inc. is a contract role focused on editing and proofreading communications for the Retail Engagement & Marketing team. Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread digital and print communications including internal copy, email, social media posts, reference materials, signage, and presentations.
• Collaborate closely with writers and team members to maintain high standards of clarity and accuracy in global Retail communications.
• Review projects at all stages of the design and production process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience editing communications, preferably in a creative team or organization.
• Strong writing skills and a solid understanding of U.S.-style English, usage, grammar, and punctuation.
• Extensive proofreading and fact-checking experience.
• Familiarity with standard style guides, including The Chicago Manual of Style.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience or special interest in using artificial intelligence tools during content development.
