The Reality Labs developer ecosystem team plays a critical role in connecting Mixed and Augmented Reality developers with consumers looking for innovative and immersive experiences. As the popularity of Meta's Quest platform continues to grow, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our Meta Horizon Operating Systems team and help scale our copy-editing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with content review processes and policies, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ultimately, you will work with a team of content designers to ensure our content meets our brand's guidelines and all copy is accurate, free of grammatical errors, and adheres to our organization's guidelines. Responsibilities include proofreading, editing, and working with writers to deliver quality content. You will manage all office hours and implement and enforce policies across various VR/AR workflows, ensuring alignment with Meta's standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will provide linguistic feedback and recommendations to partners to achieve the company's high-quality standards. Your role will involve copy editing and proofreading materials to ensure they are error-free, consistent across channels, and aligned with our brand. You will be responsible for correcting grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors, checking content against a style guide, and understanding and consistently reflecting the brand voice of the company in writing style. You will need mastery of spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors and the ability to make constructive suggestions. Reviewing and revising content for accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax, will be essential. Ensuring the correct tone, voice, clarity, flow, and structure of content is also a key part of this role. The position requires a world-class editor and writer with at least 5-7 years of professional editing or writing experience, with a proven track record of success. Additionally, 3+ years of relevant experience in policy, program management, operations, growth, internet technology, or an equivalent function is necessary, demonstrating a proven understanding of industry trends and best practices. You should have the proven ability to juggle multiple projects and fluctuating deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Effective communication skills are crucial, including the ability to clearly document complex bugs and the steps to reproduce them, as well as to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven developer advocacy skills, with experience helping app developers overcome challenges and providing guidance to help them succeed, are also required.
